Hey, Occu! Expo 2020 is here and I'm all up in it! Since it was announced in 2013 that Dubai would become the first middle eastern city to ever host an Expo event in 2020, the country had been quietly preparing for the last 8 years to show the world once and for all how capable middle eastern people really are. The history of the Expo began way back in 1851 in London with the concept of bringing all the nations in the world together to find solutions to pressing challenges of the time. We are talking about all the innovative technologies the likes of televisions, telephones, and computers, things that we still rely on to this day and famous architectural wonders take we often take for granted like the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Atomium in Brussels. This year, Dubai has invited more than 190 countries around the world to show off its future to the public under the concept of mobility and sustainability over a whopping 438-hectare area (1083 acres), unlike anything that came before. 8 years in the making, the Expo 2020 Dubai has finally opened its doors and as a good travel blogger would do, I decided to attend the Expo 2020 the moment it opens its gate. Full of unbelievable structures to bewildered, delicious street food to try, and all kinds of innovative technologies being used in interesting ways, I have decided to compile a list of all the most beautiful pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai as one of the first entries of many that I will continue to bring to you in the next 6 months until Expo 2020 ends. If you are looking for ways to get out of your country for a much-deserved holiday after such an couple of intense years we have been having lately as I did, Dubai and the Expo 2020 are great reasons to do so now. The UAE is fully open for the most part, the effect of COVID-19 is barely seen and felt here nowadays. The daily case is lower than 200 cases per day and they are welcoming more and more tourists every day. I can't believe I am saying this but Dubai is definitely one of the best places to visit during COVID-19. Want to visit Dubai and its prestigious Expo 2020 event? Be sure to grab buy the new promotional Expo 2020 entrance ticket before you get here.
