Why Did I Spend 5 Months in Dubai? Here's Why.

I gotta admit, I never thought much of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates as a travel destination. I was always attracted to places with a rich history and stunning natures rather than cities and extravagance, which Dubai and the UAE are known for.

But things do change and when the world was hit with the pandemic, so is my perception of the country. The UAE is one of the few countries that remained open to tourists during COVID and what was even more amazing was the fact that they were organizing the world's expo event, Expo 2020 Dubai, which gave me more than enough of a reason to visit the UAE.

One thing led to another and 5 months on and I still have yet to see them all. Despite that, I decided to create this travel video that compiles all the experiences I had in the UAE including visiting the Expo 2020 Dubai, experiencing Dubai during a New Year celebration, and visiting other less-traveled places in the UAE as well like Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Hatta, and Jebel Jais

We have a couple openings on BMTM Adventures!

I hope this finds you having some wonderful beginnings to 2022!

I'm reaching out in case any of our female readers have been dreaming of some adventures this year. We've had an opening on our Patagonia trip, this March 15-27, in the crown jewel of Patagonia, Torres del Paine National Park. Join a group of amazing women hiking together for 8 days through what is easily the most beautiful part of Chilean Patagonia.

California Dreamin'

Spring is a fantastic time to explore the California coast!

Having grown up in Southern California, I'm definitely biased, but I truly think it's one of the best states for a road trip because there are so many things to see and do. From beaches to National Parks to cities and small coastal towns — take your pick!

And, if you've had the Carlsbad Flower Fields on your bucket list, now is the time to start planning your trip! The fields open up on March 1st and you can see the gorgeous blooms until Mother's Day (May 8th).

On that note, I just spent the weekend in San Francisco with my nieces and I didn't realize how kid-friendly the city is!

I'll share a guide soon, but the girls (ages 15 and 7) had an absolute blast. From seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to visiting the Exploratorium — we covered so much ground in just 2 days!
