Dear U30X community: 2021 began to give us hope. The mountains of Peru... the glaciers of Iceland... the reefs of Belize...'21 was the year we finally saw our travelers go back to some of our favorite places! With any kind of luck, the temples of Thailand, the restaurants of Italy, and the beaches of Bali will be up next in 2022. As a company, we picked ourselves up by the bootstraps and did what we do best. Give people something incredible to look forward to and then show them the time of their life. After two years of waiting, our original Greece signups finally took the trip they'd been yearning for. We ran our first trips to Guatemala, Mexico City, Grand Teton & Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, Moab, & Arches... And now our newest itineraries, Morocco, Jordan, Croatia, and Alaska seem right around the corner! As we close the year, we want to say thank you. We're extremely grateful for the support you've shown our staff, local communities, and most importantly one another. You've kept your travel dreams alive and our community's enthusiasm to see the world is more abundant than ever. Here is to an adventurous 2022! Matt

Holiday Vibezzz All Year Long

Come Celebrate a Holiday with U30X!

Happy Holidays! We're in holiday mode over here at Under30Experiences. And we have to admit, holidays are fun. Plain and simple. So why not plan your travels around international holidays?! Here are some 2022 trips to check out if you want to experience a holiday in a foreign country:

St. Patrick's Day Trip: March 13-19 Ireland St. Patrick's Day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. The holiday has grown into a huge celebration of Irish culture complete with parades, food, music, dancing, drinking, and, most notably, wearing green!

Sun Festival Trip: June 20-25 Machu Picchu & Peru Also known as Inti Raymi and celebrated during the winter solstice, this holiday is a traditional religious ceremony to honor Inti, the Incan sun god. It is a way to thank the sun and the life it provides. The largest celebration takes place in Cusco and is one of the most important Peruvian holidays.

Lantern Festival Trip: November 5-14 Thailand Properly known as Loi Krathong, the lantern festival in Thailand when people gather around lakes, rivers, and canals to pay respects to the goddess of water. Lanterns in the sky are also a major part of the holiday and they're said to carry away misfortunes as they float up into the sky. You typically say a little blessing and ask for good fortunes for the year ahead as you release your lantern.

New Year's Eve Trip: December 24, 2022-January 1 2023 Costa Rica Extended December 27th 2022-January 1 2023 Machu Picchu & Peru Many countries have celebrations around New Years Eve. While there are no official activities planned, travelers typically go out and celebrate with the locals and take part in celebrations. What better way to ring in a new year than in a new country with new friends!

Wrapping Up 2021

For those celebrating — Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful week and the remaining days of 2021.

It's so hard to believe it's nearly 2022!

This year, I'm home with my family and happy to have a nice and slow holiday season. I'm looking forward to relaxing, maybe trying a new recipe or two, and...relaxing.
