Trip: Morocco

Role: Regional Manager

"Morocco would have to be my favorite. I loved experiencing a variety of landscapes and cultures on the trip. Hiking in the High Atlas mountains, riding a camel in the desert, and eating a meal at a local family's house in Marrakech were all unforgettable experiences.

The food in Morocco was amazing, and it was great to prepare my own food in the cooking class. Walking around the medina in Marrakech was confusing, chaotic, and exciting, but yet, an unforgettable experience. I was also with a super cool group of travelers ;)"

"Not many people know this, but I was a U30X traveler before I started working here. My very first trip with U30X was to Iceland, and it still holds a special place in my heart!

The landscapes were absolutely stunning. We're talking about waterfalls and wide open fields and cute Icelandic horses at every turn. Walking on a glacier was another highlight of my trip, for sure. When someone asks me for trip recommendations, Iceland is always my first answer!"

"While picking my favorite trip is like asking someone to pick their favorite child, if I could go travel anywhere, I'd go back to Thailand.

The smiling people, amazing food, mix of beach and adventure activities, and captivating culture rounds out an incredible trip. While I loved the rock climbing and island hopping in Krabi, my favorite part was definitely just sitting at the Buddhist temples and soaking in the peaceful energy!"

Trip: Buenos Aires & Patagonia

"Visiting Argentina was my favorite experience so far...I was there while Argentina was playing in the FIFA World Cup and I even visited the home of Maradona and Messi! Coming from Costa Rica where we love soccer, being able to experience the locals' passion for soccer and watch the games with them will always be a highlight.

Once in Patagonia, I was impressed by the color of the glaciers! I also hiked one of the most beautiful trails in Patagonia, Fitz Roy, and enjoyed Argentina's delicious food and wine. Can't wait to come back!"

"Merida was such an unexpected but pleasant find! It's a beautiful, warm, and cultural city with a rich history. You walk around and see Mayan and Spanish influences coming together: from the delicious food (don't miss out on the famous cochinita pibil) to the iconic red and white plaques found at every building corner in the historic center (why meet at Calle 3 when you can say "let's meet at El Besito corner").

I also loved discovering the sleepy but charming town of Campeche, where I explored the Mayan ruins and swam in those picture-worthy cenotes. If you're looking for a reason to love Mexico, this trip is the one!"

"Belize is consistently one of my favorite places to visit. You'll feel their "go slow" motto as soon as you step onto any of the islands. As someone who loves being around beaches, you can't ask for a better spot than a small island with no cars in the Caribbean.

Some of my favorite things to do there are snorkeling, fishing, eating spiny lobsters, and finding all the docks & coves to relax and enjoy the island."
