| | We're back from Egypt! Our first group of travelers just returned from their trip to Egypt with Under30Experiences, and what an adventure it was! From pyramids to sailing the Nile River to homecooked meals, there were so many highlights that it's hard to choose just a few... But if we had to choose, here are some standout moments from our first trip to Egypt: | | | | Seeing the Pyramids 🐫 On our first full day in Egypt, we started off strong with a trip to the Giza Pyramids! It's one thing to read about the ancient pyramids in textbooks, but it's even cooler when we got to see them in person! There were plenty of photo ops, including some with the cute local pups catching some zzz's. | | | | Dinner with Nubian Families 🍲 When we talk about off-the-beaten-path adventures, this is what we're talking about... Our group was welcomed into local families' homes to offer a glimpse into their daily life. We swapped stories over delicious home-cooked meals, and it was definitely a highlight of the trip for most of us! | | | | Slumber Party on the Nile River ⛵ Keeping with the theme of unique experiences, we spent a night on a traditional open-air felucca boat on the Nile! Once onboard, we enjoyed a family-style dinner, a beautiful sunset, and a night of sleeping on the boat's covered deck. | | | | Hot Air Balloon Ride 🎈 Many of our travelers chose to do an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor, and if you have a future trip to Egypt, take notes! The views were incredible, the sunrise was incredible, and seeing the archeological sites from above was incredible. Did we mention it was incredible? | | | | Overall, we had an amazing time with wonderful people.
