Hiking a glacier We started off this adventure strong by hiking the Perito Moreno glacier! We strapped on our crampons, donned our oh so stylish helmets, and set off to explore this new terrain. No only did we hike on a glacier, we went INSIDE of it, too. Talk about a bucket list activity! | |
Exploring Buenos Aires With limited time in this coastal capital city, we made sure to hit up the highlights: Palermo, El Caminito de la Boca, and Boca Juniors Stadium. | |
Hiking hiking hiking! Day 5 of this trip was a full day of hiking...and the scenery was stunning. We started our trek in the morning as we made our way through the flat terrain of the forest. Around midday, we reached the most challenging, but most rewarding portion of the hike...Laguna de los Tres! The views at the top were unbelievable! Once we caught our breath, we continued on to finish out the hike and rest our feet as we enjoyed a much earned dinner. | |
Can't forget about the food Though Patagonia is known for the hiking, let's take a moment to recognize the amazing food we had along the way! In Buenos Aires, we had a private chef at a local restaurant prepare grilled ribs. In El Calafate, we got our hands on some delicious ice cream that we snacked on while exploring the town. In El Chalten, the restaurants and small local breweries were top notch. 10/10, for sure. | |
