I'm wrapping up my time in Egypt and needless to say, these last (almost) two weeks have been so cool!
I was a little worried that exploring so many ancient Egyptian sites might start to feel mundane—how different could they really be?
I can honestly say that each temple has wowed me for one reason or another. The pharaonic period spans 3000 years, so they are all unique! Karnak Temple, seen above, was constructed by the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who ruled for 22+ years!
The sheer size of it is incredible—there are 134 of these giant columns 🤯 It's considered the largest open air museum and religious building in the world!
I've absolutely LOVED doing the final walk-through of our new TBA Escapes "Nefertiti to the Nile Egypt Tour," and I'm so looking forward to introducing gals to this part of the world later this year.
