Who Run the World?

As a female-owned small business, with an all-female team, creating resources and experiences for female travelers, today is such an important day to reflect on the power of female community.

While everything "The Blonde Abroad" is focused on empowering women, my all-female tour company TBA Escapes has been one of my most rewarding ventures.

We've hosted over 300 women hailing from 16 different countries in 4 incredible destinations!

There is something so magical about bringing women together for a shared experience. It's so much deeper than the destination. It's about conquering fears, trying something new, building human connection, and creating lifelong friendships.

We've hosted first-time and seasoned travelers, sisters, cousins, mothers, and even mothers-to-be. Everyone is welcome.

We also strive to empower women in our host communities by hiring female guides and supporting local businesses.

It has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life and is a constant reminder that we are better together.

We've been patiently waiting out the incredible challenges this pandemic has presented us as a tour company. But, we've held onto hope and are so grateful for the support and enthusiasm of the women that have joined us and plan to in the future.

Spoiler: I'm flying out to test run a brand new tour in EGYPT in just a few weeks! We'll be launching our remaining 2022 tour dates soon, so be sure to sign up for our waiting list if you haven't already.

If you have any requests for new tour destinations, please send them through!

I am exceptionally grateful for the immeasurable support of this community. May we continue to lift each other up, live through kindness, recognize our strength, and, collectively, strive to create a more equal world!

10 Safest Destinations for Solo Female Travelers

I've written quite a few articles on solo female travel tips and why every woman should venture out on her own but, I'm often asked, "Where is it safe for women to travel solo?"

While there may be some destinations that are safer than others, the world is not as scary as some might think. With a positive attitude and general street smarts, there are plenty of places in the world where you can feel safe and secure on your own.
