Hey hey Love,
You've probably heard it said before: "Do you want to be a traveler, or a tourist?"
Groan, right?
Naturally, we all want to be the super authentic traveler who has unique experiences and maximizes every moment of our trip. We want to be able to tell stories that make people say, "wow!"
I figured out pretty early on in my travels that there are a few key ways to get those authentic and unique experiences, and it's actually pretty simple:
Leave room for serendipity in your itinerary.
As a solo traveler, you have an incredible opportunity to have more 'wow' experiences when you travel. Why? Because you can do whatever you want, when you want, with anyone who you meet along the way.
You can say YES more, you can be open, and you can be the chief architect of your adventure.
That said, you probably do want at least some idea of what to do and what to see in the places you wish to visit. So where should you even start?
Depending on where you want to go, I've made solo female travel guides for Africa, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
You can also click here to see every itinerary I've ever made.
As well as guides to every country I've visited, including exchange rates, how to communicate, important things you need to know, and the absolute best things to see there. They're always designed with solo travelers in mind! In the next email, we'll talk about more practical stuff, such as what to pack so that you can be both stylish and comfortable during your travels. This is one of the most fun parts of the planning process! See you tomorrow.
Hugs,
Kristin
