Here's Exactly What You Should Pack

So now we've picked a spot, but what's next? Figuring out what the heck to bring!

In the previous few emails, we talked about how to kick the fear and how to figure out which part of the world you want to visit. We talked about budgeting and planning and of course, the next step is figuring out what you should bring along with you!

I know the usual issues:

I've got you covered. After traveling to every continent on earth (except for Antarctica but it's on my list!), I've figured out what to pack and how to do carry on only whenever possible.

I also have another trick: I buy clothes locally. While that's not always possible or can be prohibitively expensive, most of the time it's a great idea. In most of Asia, South Africa, and at vintage shops in Europe, I've found some of the most awesome items that are now in my closet. Buying local helps you to have clothing that's appropriate for the weather and style where you are, plus it's an awesome souvenir.
