Is There Anything Patagonia Doesn't Have?

From penguins to glaciers, this South American region has it all!

Let's go to Patagonia!

Splitting its real estate between Chile and Argentina, Patagonia has become one of the hiking capitals of the world...and for good reason.

But there is so much more to this region that just hiking!

Here are a few reasons why Patagonia is so unique:

1. A growing glacier

Unlike most glaciers that shrink in size over the years due to global warming, the Perito Moreno glacier is actually growing in size!

Come see this glacier for yourself on our U30X Patagonia trip!

2. It is HUGE

How huge? Almost one million square kilometers, or around 621,000 sq miles.

Most of this is vast untouched wilderness in uninhabited and without infrastructure, making you truly feel one with nature while adventuring through the landscapes!

3. Massive dino bones

Speaking of huge, fossilized bones of a dinosaur believed to be the largest creature to ever walk the Earth were found in the Patagonia region of Argentina!

The species? The Patagotitan...similar to childhood favorite Littlefoot from Land Before Time, but BIGGER.

4. Penguins galore

Typically associated with frigid climates, the warm natured Magellanic penguin calls Patagonia home...and their population is massive.

There are around 1.7 million penguins that call this region home...just slightly under the mere 2 million humans that also call Patagonia home.

5. Adventure for everyone

Yes, Patagonia is know for epic hiking opportunities. But adventure-seeking travelers also have their eye on Patagonia for rock climbing, whale watching, kayaking, snorkeling, bird watching, and sailing.

Four Food-Obsessed Tours for the Fall

Big Autumn for the League of Travelers
View this email in your browser

AUTUMN: THE TIME TO TRAVEL

We sold out Spring. We're leaving Summer to the overheated amateurs. That means all eyes shift to Autumn, the harvest time, the turning season, the Absolute Best Time to Be on the Road.

We've got four trips during this golden hour of a season: Catalunya and Asturias and Hokkaido and Chiang Mai

These journeys are intimate—10 or fewer travelers per trip—handcrafted, and completely food-obsessed. If you've ever seen a really great episode of Bourdain's television shows, that's the feeling we're going for, with some of his many friends and partners (including us) alongside every step of the way. We'll be carousing with cheesemakers and shepherds and konbu farmers, Michelin chefs and talented grillmasters. And, perhaps, with you.

Trips are all-inclusive, and range in price from $8000 to $14000, depending on the mix of hotels, private dinners, helicopters, etc. More information, dates, and itineraries below. If you think you might be a good fit, email us at league@roadsandkingdoms.com, or by SMS at 201-754-8548 to learn more.
