Here are some easy Ideas for celebrating Earth Day tomorrow
Happy (early) Earth Day! Earth Day is a holiday to celebrate our planet's clean natural resources while also raising awareness of global climate change. We love exploring this beautiful earth with our community, and it's up to all of us to keep it in prim and proper shape! Here a a few ideas to help improve our earth that can be done not only on Earth Day, but on any day of the year:

Reuse and recycle your clothing Buying thrifted or gently used items of clothing, especially online, means that new resources aren't used to make more clothes which will eventually end up being repurposed, reused, or in a landfill. Some studies have shown that online shopping is better for the environment because it takes about 30% less resources to sell items online.

Switch up your commute If you're able, try ditching your single-occupancy car for the day. Opt for carpooling, public transportation, riding a bike, or even walking. It looks like most of the US will have beautiful weather tomorrow, so go enjoy it!

Invest in a reusable water bottle This is something that we encourage all of our travelers to do. Having a reusable water bottle will greatly decrease your usage of single-use plastic products, thus reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in landfills, waterways, and oceans. | |
Plant a garden for pollinators Pollinators like birds, bats, bees, and butterflies ensure the continuation of plant populations that are essential in absorbing carbon dioxide. From something as small as a pot on your windowsill to as large as a muti-acre farm, any site can be turned into a habitat suited for pollinators.

Save energy in your home Much of our electricity and heat are powered by coal, oil, and gas. Try using less energy by lowering your heating and cooling, switching to LED light bulbs, washing your laundry with cold water, and hang drying your clothes.
