After two years away, I'm finally back in Cape Town!
We left Cape Town in March of 2020, just before all of the Covid lockdowns started happening. I first moved to Cape Town in January 2017, met Meyer in February of that year, and never left.
To be honest, from the minute we stepped off the plane, it felt like we were coming home — which makes it hard because it very much feels like my home is in two very distant parts of the world.
But I'm so happy to be back!
We haven't even been here for 24 hours, and we're already making the rounds to visit our favorite shops and see as many of our friends and family members as possible.
