The best places to visit in March

Hey

I noticed that one of our most popular posts is where to travel to in March, whether it's in the US or international, and I think I know why...

It's spring break for many people!

But is anything all that nice in March? Yes, absolutely, from shoulder season in Thailand to low season in Alaska, but one of the best times to see the Northern lights, there's a lot worth springing for if you have a full week off in March.

The Cheapest Place to Visit in 2024!

Each year for the past five years, the most popular post on Be My Travel Muse is the world's cheapest destinations, and each year, we do a major update to make sure what we're recommending is still the best bang for your buck.

My favorites are still Vietnam, the Philippines, and South Africa. You can score some great deals on beautiful hotels and experiences in each of these places, and the scenery is gorgeous.

Speaking of deals, American Express is offering select people between 100-150k bonus points on their Platinum card, which, while it comes with a high annual fee, pays for itself when you use all of the perks. It's why I've kept the card for four years!

If at first you don't see the higher bonus, I've been told trying a different browser helps!
